Your company’s files, right on your computer
Eyeward Sync keeps the files in Eyeward up to date on your computer: edits meet in the middle both ways, and on a conflict both versions are kept.
Eyeward Sync · Version 0.2.4, released Oct 19, 2026
Diagram: company files live both on the computer and in Eyeward; edits flow both ways. If a file changed on both sides, both versions are kept.
Every file in this version
The files live on the Eyeward server and download without signing in. The client needs an account to work: on first launch it asks you to sign in.

And Eyeward itself?
It runs in the browser and installs as a web app on computers and phones. Eyeward Sync is only for files.

Does
- Two-way sync
- Edits on your computer and on the platform meet in the middle, both ways.
- Files on demand
- The whole file tree is there; only what you open takes up disk space. Linux only for now.
- Conflict resolution
- If a file changed on both sides, both versions are kept and you pick the one you need.
2 more: access to files only, updates
- Access to files only
- The client signs in with a token scoped to files: it opens the Files section and the update check — nothing else.
- Updates
- These update themselves: .exe and .msi and .AppImage and .AppImage. DEB, RPM and pacman packages are updated by your package manager.
Not yet
- An iOS client — it’s in the works.
- Files on demand on Windows and macOS — in the works.
3 more limitations
- MSI builds and builds for ARM (aarch64).
- Syncing the phone’s own folders on Android.
- An offline mode for the web version: it installs as an app but needs a connection to the server.
